We see this a lot: when a patient’s menstrual cycle returns, it can often feel like they are “done” with recovery.
‼️ But note: Periods can return early….even before someone’s recovery is in a solid place!
What does “Recovery” look like?
✔ Eating regularly and consistently throughout the day, roughly 3 meals and a few snacks
✔ Weight in a good range for your body, and able to maintain it.
✔ Medically stable
✔ Peaceful relationship with food and exercise
AND
✔ Regular menstrual cycle (for biological females)
